About us

TalkinCompany was set up in 2006 and has been providing successful lunchtime sessions to small businesses and individuals.  The move into the corporate sector in 2009 is an exciting development and builds on the expertise and experience we have gained over the last few years.

Catherine Deptford

Catherine spent 15 years in the financial services sector as a UK equity institutional fund manager. She trained at Eagle Star Investment Managers, which became Threadneedle, and moved to Enskilda shortly before the Swedish bosses repatriated money around the globe leaving her and four others in EC1. She then moved to Royal Insurance a couple of years before their merger with Sun Alliance.Catherine is TalkInCompany's Business Development Manager and is responsible for the speakers and content of each seminar.

Maria Stuff

Maria co-founded TalkInCompany in 2006.  Previously she worked in the media both for the BBC and independent production companies.  

Maria is our Client Liaison Officer.

Helen Turner

Helen is a chartered surveyor and was a partner in charge of the Leisure Team at Knight Frank, where she bought, sold, leased and carried out professional work on all types of commercial leisure properties.  She has been a consultant to Great Portland Estates and recently worked for Vue Entertainment, managing a number of high-profile property situations.

Helen is TalkInCompany's Marketing Manager.

Mark Solon

Solicitor Mark Solon has been honing the skills of expert witnesses since he co-founded the training company Bond Solon in 1992.  He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of training and the efficient running of succesful events and has been a key part of TalkInCompany since the beginning.

Mark works on a consultancy basis with TalkInCompany.
